Plein Air Painters of Oregon (PAPO)

We are a group of dedicated artists committed to painting and communicating the value of local, spontaneous art that captures the light and emotion of the moment. PAPO invites anyone with a passion for creating art on location to consider join us on a paint out and consider becoming a member to help preserve this wonderful art form.

We are most active during summer months, but still paint in the spring and fall when weather permits. Most paint outs take place at Central Oregon locations, but we occasionally go farther afield.  As a member, you will get a list of locations and times for each week's adventure. On this year's agenda, we have a wide variety of locations. Examples include choice locations along the Deschutes River, Crooked River, Smith Rock, Cline Falls, and Suttle Lake. Don't miss out!!
